About Us

Founded in 2020 by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Separate Segregated Fund (CRNA-PAC), the nonpartisan Nursing Votes initiative advocates for issues that improve patient access to high-quality, affordable healthcare and elects pro-nursing, pro-patient candidates to office.

In 2020, Nursing Votes engaged 57,000 nurses, reached 117,313 voters, and helped to elect or reelect 7 federal candidates and 2 state candidates to office. Three candidates elected are nurses or advanced practice registered nurses.

With more than 6 million nurses in the US, Nursing Votes can help to shape a policy making environment that benefits all Americans.
